The U.S. government demands to send the OSCE observer mission to Crimea occupied by the Russians, Joinfo.ua reports with reference to the press service of the United States Mission to the OSCE.

"Ambassador Baer called upon Ukraine, Russia, and the Russia-backed separatists to ensure that the members of the Special Monitoring Mission have unfettered access throughout the entire territory of Ukraine, including access to Crimea, and to guarantee the safety and security of the monitors as they carry out their duties," the statement reads.

At the same time, once again, the U.S. has confirmed its consistent commitment to Ukrainian sovereignty and territorial integrity within internationally recognized borders of Ukraine. The United States also urged the parties of the Donbas conflict to fully implement the Minsk Agreement.

It should be recalled that the OSCE observation mission on the Russian-Ukrainian border reported that Russia sends its fighters to Donbas, and exports coal from Ukraine instead.
