Europe does not see an end to Ukrainian conflict

The resolution of the conflict in Ukraine is still far away. This was stated by the German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier.

During his visit to Bulgaria, the Minister noted that Ukraine needed substantial support, given the poor state of its economy, Joinfo.ua reports with reference to Reuters.

"The road on which we have been and we are on, is probably the first step for calming down the situation, but we all know that we are still very far from a solution," said Steinmeier.

"And I need to underline again the financial engagement which we will have to Ukraine, given its grave economic situation," the Minister added.

It should be recalled that the EU intends to provide Ukraine with additional macro-financial assistance in the amount of 1.8 billion euros.
