17th Russian "humanitarian convoy" to Ukraine brings non-humanitarian cargo

The Ukrainian border guards have commented on the arrival of another illegal "humanitarian" cargo to the Donbas from Russia, Joinfo.ua reports with reference to the press service of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.

March 4, the Russian side has unilaterally processed the next (seventeenth) so-called "humanitarian convoy".

Since the movement of the "humanitarian convoy" took place with a flagrant violation of international and national law and modalities consistent with the International Committee of the Red Cross, the Ukrainian interagency group control carried out the control by visual inspection without performing control functions.

In the period from 06:30 a.m. to 07:40 a.m. two columns of the "humanitarian convoy" consisting of 166 trucks passed through the checkpoints "Donetsk" (Russia) and "Matveev Kurgan" (Russia). A substantial part of the trucks was carrying cargo of non-humanitarian nature, namely: 41 trucks were carrying lubricants, 1 – advertising banners of unknown content.

The procedure for trucks registration at the checkpoint "Donetsk" was actively filmed by the Russian TV channels NTV and Russia 24 Lifenews.

Traditionally, after receiving "humanitarian" assistance from the Russian Federation the militants dramatically increase the intensity of the attacks.
