EU leaders will discuss the situation in Ukraine at a meeting to be held on March 18-19. The next meeting will take place in June.
Mogherini stressed that in the coming weeks the EU would make every effort to achieve fulfillment of the Minsk Agreement to the fullest.
Also the representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy made it clear that in case of deterioration of the situation in eastern Ukraine, the EU was able to sharply increase the pressure on the Russian Federation and the separatists terrorizing eastern Ukraine it supports.
Mogherini added he had no illusions about Russian President Vladimir Putin or the truce.
