President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko met with the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE, Colonel-General Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Joinfo.ua reports referring to the Facebook account of Adviser to the Ukrainian Minister of Internal Affairs Anton Herashchenko.

During the meeting there was reached an agreement on cooperation with the United Arab Emirates in the supply of certain types of weapons and military equipment to Ukraine.

"As you know, the types and volumes of supplies can not be disclosed on Facebook," Herashchenko writes.

At the same time, he notes that unlike the Europeans and Americans, the Arabs are not afraid of Putin's threats to start World War III in the event of arms supply to Ukraine.

"They seem to have a bone to pick with Putin for oil prices decline almost in half and global instability, which prevents the long-term development of the UAE. So it will be their little revenge," Herashchenko said.

Recently, it became known that the Ukrainian car company AvtoKrAZ in partnership with the Canada-UAE company Streit Group, a manufacturer of high-quality armored vehicles, will take part in IDEX-2015, the International exhibition and conference for technology security and defense, which will be held on February 22 -26 in Abu Dhabi (UAE).
