Valeriy Borshchev, a member of the public supervisory commission, said that the Ukrainian pilot Nadiya Savchenko, who is detained in the Moscow jail and continues her hunger strike, already has some organs malfunctioning, Joinfo.ua reports with reference to Radio Svoboda.
"Her kidneys and gall bladder are ailing. I asked whether the doctors monitor her condition. She said they did. They also did ultrasound and examined. But, of course, there is a risk of complications. Because it's too long hunger strike. But she hangs in there, she was talking to us quite cheerfully," Borshchev said.
According to him, Nadiya Savchenko refused a proposal to end the strike again.
