German Foreign Ministry: German doctors examine Nadiya Savchenko

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Germany, German doctors examined the Ukrainian pilot Nadiya Savchenko detained in the Moscow jail. This agreement was reached between Frank-Walter Steinmeier and Russian President Vladimir Putin on the sidelines of the talks in Minsk last week, the German Foreign Ministry reported on Tuesday, February 17.

The details are not reported, since it was agreed on strict non-disclosure, Reuters agency writes. At the same time, the German Foreign Ministry did not confirm the information on Savchenko's health, which appeared earlier.

Nadiya Savchenko has been on a hunger strike for 68 days already. She refuses to stop the hunger strike at the request of the European Court of Human Rights.
