Ukrainian military to receive humanitarian assistance from five countries

This news was announced at a briefing by Vladyslav Seleznyov, the Acting Spokesperson to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

"In the near future we are expecting the next batch of humanitarian aid from the United States, UK, Australia, Georgia and the Czech Republic," RBC-Ukraine reports with reference to Seleznyov.

According to the Acting Speaker to the General Staff, six containers with winter clothing for men in the ATO zone already arrived from Canada to Ukraine.

According to Seleznyov, the goods transferred to Ukrainian soldiers by the Canadian side are estimated at 17 million US dollars.

Seleznyov also said that the first batch of humanitarian aid from Canada, in particular, 42 containers with winter clothing, were already sent to the base of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This outfit will be distributed among the soldiers involved in the ATO.

It was noted earlier that NATO was considering sending Canadian army to assist the Ukrainian servicemen in the anti-terrorist operation.

Probably, NATO does not exclude the possibility of military intervention in the Ukrainian conflict. And if such a decision is made, it will be Canadian troops who will be sent.
