President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko strongly opposes the idea of federalization of Ukraine. He stated in his congratulatory address on the occasion of Ukraine's Unity Day celebrated on January 22.

"Nowadays, almost 100% of the citizens stand for the united country. The vast majority of Ukrainians see it as a unitary, not federal, state. And for me as a president, the unity of country and nation is also the same value as for all my fellow countrymen," Poroshenko said.

Yesterday, during the Economic Forum in Davos President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko said that two thousand Russian soldiers had entered the territory of Ukraine. In addition, the President said that there was imported more military equipment, including 200 tanks and armored personnel carriers from Russia to the territory of Ukraine.

Also, according to the head of state, in Ukraine there are already about 8,000 Russian soldiers.

"The situation is getting worse, because we now have information about more than 2,000 additional Russian troops crossing our border, together with 200 tanks and armed personnel carriers. The situation can get worse in days," Poroshenko said.

Also at this Forum, President Petro Poroshenko showed the world a fragment of the civilian bus destroyed by the terrorists near Volnovakha as a "symbol" of terrorist attacks on Ukraine.
