In an interview with Bloomberg President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko said that two thousand Russian soldiers had crossed the Ukrainian border.

President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko said that another two thousand Russian soldiers had entered the territory of Ukraine. He stated this in an interview for Bloomberg.

In addition, the President said that there was imported more military equipment, including 200 tanks and armored personnel carriers from Russia to the territory of Ukraine.

"The situation is getting worse, because we now have information about more than 2,000 additional Russian troops crossing our border, together with 200 tanks and armed personnel carriers. The situation can get worse in days," Poroshenko said.

According to the head of state, in Ukraine there are already about 8,000 Russian soldiers.

Previously, January 19, the National Security Council reported that two battalion tactical groups of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation had crossed the border with Ukraine.

Yesterday it was reported that another 3 battalion tactical groups of the Russian Federation had come up to the Ukrainian border.
