Tanzania recognizes Russia as superpower

At the meeting with his counterpart Sergei Lavrov in Moscow Foreign Minister of Tanzania marked the historical role of Russia and called it a superpower.

During the negotiations with his Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrov, Bernard Kamillius Membe, Tanzanian Foreign Minister, who is on a visit in Moscow called Russia a superpower.

"Of course, Russia is a superpower. We will always remind of the historical role of Russia, it has to play," Membe said.

The Foreign Minister of the African state also said that he had a message for Russian President Vladimir Putin, but he did not disclose the details of the document.

Lavrov noted the "constructive line of Tanzania in the settlement of the regional conflicts" and emphasized Russia's interest in strengthening bilateral cooperation.

Earlier it was reported that the Crimean self-proclaimed government has signed a treaty with the representatives of Robert Mugabe, the ruler of Zimbabwe. According to these documents, in 2015 the tourists from the exotic country of Zimbabwe will have a rest on the beaches of the peninsula. Also, this country will help in filling the Crimean water reservoirs.

Crimea expects to have the first Zimbabwean tourists in May. The Zimbabwean promise that mostly African intelligentsia will come to Crimea.
