According to Joinfo.ua, it happened due to the fact that the situation in the region has been complicated.

The withdrawal of a number of observers was reported by Michael Botsyurkiv, the spokesperson of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission.

However, he did not specify either which states have adopted such a decision or how many observers left the Donetsk and Luhansk regions.

The OSCE Mission considers its own observers' security as a priority for the mission, said Alexander Hug, the deputy head of the OSCE Mission.

It is to be recalled that the last few days were marked by deterioration of the situation in the Donbas. Thus, a passenger bus came under fires. 13 people were killed and many more were wounded. In addition, the Ukrainian heroic soldiers had to endure a serious battle for the Donetsk airport.
