Today Canada to send military aid to Odesa

Today, January 6 in Odesa there will be delivered military aid of non-lethal nature from the Government of Canada.

According to Joinfo.ua, it was informed by the Advisor to the President and Minister of Defense of Ukraine Yuri Biryukov.

"Two ships with Canadian aid onboard will enter Odesa sea port tomorrow," Biryukov said. The composition of the cargo will include winter uniform which will be very useful for our military, opposing the Russian-terrorist forces in the east.

According to Biryukov, volunteers will control the process of distribution of the foreign aid to the Ukrainian military.

Biryukov also reminded that the Canadian aid, arrived in Ukraine in mid-November, was taken under the supervision of volunteers, delivered to the 93rd Mechanized Brigade and handed over to the fighters in the presence of a representative of the Canadian Embassy.

According to Yury Biryukov, the third lot of aid will arrive in Ukraine January 14-16.

It is to be recalled that Canada has sent the first lot of aid to Kyiv November 30. It included safety equipment, medicines and warm clothes for the military. The total amount of aid Canada is going to deliver to Ukraine amounts to 11 million dollars.
