Then they are to be used for the resumption of negotiations on the project, Joinfo.ua reports with reference to the foreign media.
Angela Merkel also believes that Germany and Russia remain reliable partners in the field of economics. According to the German Chancellor, in spite of today's political differences between Russia and Germany, they must continue to prove this reliability.
According to Prime Minister of Bulgaria, at the upcoming EU Summit he is going to touch the topic of the pipeline. Currently, Bulgaria plans to become a gas distribution center in the southwest of the EU and to receive financial support for implementing this project.
Earlier, Moscow has officially announced the closure of the EU's South Stream project. As an alternative Russia has chosen the construction of a gas pipeline to Turkey. However, in case of realization of this project, Europeans must build gas pipelines to supply gas to their markets on their own.
