A new "outsider" in the Ukrainian government. After having appointed top managers from Baltics, Georgia and the U.S. as Ukrainian ministers, the Ministry of Internal Affairs found a traffic police reformer in the U.S. It will be an expert in the field of law enforcement Ronald Glensor.
The decision to invite Glensor was announced by the MIA representative after their meeting with the representatives of the U.S. Department of Justice under the joint implementation of the International Criminal Investigative Training Assistance Program (ICITAP). Ronald Glensor is a senior expert of the program and has already worked with the Ukrainian militiamen.
However, back then his advice related to the search of non-standard solutions for common problems, but now it comes to creating a patrol on the Western pattern, instead of the Ukrainian traffic police.
Such an experiment has already started in Khmelnitsky. Since November 1 there has been operating a unified patrol duty instead of the traffic police and patrol inspection service, which maintains law and order, and prevents accidents and crime.
