Canada has begun to provide Ukraine with military aid. A plane with protective equipment, medicines and warm clothing for the soldiers landed in Kiev. It is reported by joinfo.ua with reference to the Ukrainian media.
According to Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin, much of the financial assistance will be spent on protective equipment adapted for cold weather.
"The remaining funds will be used for the disposal of explosive devices, communications equipment and medicines," the minister said.
The loads will be delivered in batches within five weeks. In general, the Canadian government plans to send military aid in the amount of $ 11 million.
Previously, it was reported that the German government refused to deliver basic assistance to the army of Ukraine.
