Barack Obama did not want to talk business with Putin at the summit

According to the representatives of the Russian and American delegations, at the first meeting President Barack Obama and Russian leader did not talk about business, since there was not much time to discuss problematic issues, reports joinfo.ua.

Later the press service of the Kremlin reported that the state leaders have communicated during several pauses at the forum in Beijing. In particular, the presidents managed to talk on the subject of Syria, Ukraine, and Iran.

So far, the press service of the Kremlin do not specify whether the communication between two leaders will continue at the upcoming G20 Summit in Australia.

Earlier, the White House announced that the heads of the states would not have official talks neither at the summit nor at the upcoming G20 meeting.

It is to be recalled that the tension between the Kremlin and the White House continues to grow due to the situation in Donbas, Ukraine. In particular, it is referred to the invasion of the Russian army on the territory of Ukraine.

It is explained by the fact that each side is trying to talk over China. For example, previously, Barack Obama said that the United States began a new relationship with China. At the same time, the Russian side has signed a preliminary agreement with China on the supply of energy resources.
