The participants of the joint mission of the United States and Italy will carry out an observation flight over the territory of the Russian Federation on the American aircraft OC-135B from November 10 to November 15 under the International Treaty on Open Skies.

It is reported by TASS news agency referring to the head of the National Centre for Nuclear Risk Reduction of Russia Sergey Ryzhkov.

"Aircraft and observation equipment (aerial cameras) installed have passed the international certification attended by the Russian experts, which excludes the use of technology not covered by the Treaty," said Ryzhkov.

According to him, the observation aircraft OC-135B is of a class of aircraft that unmeant for the use of any weapons.
