According to Ukrainian media, Yuriy Lutsenko intends to initiate a process of abolishing immunity of the highest officials. President Poroshenko is also included in this "category".

Thus, according to Lutsenko, even before the election campaign the party members have expressed a desire to vote for the abolition of the immunity of a number of officials, including deputies and judges. The leader of Petro Poroshenko Bloc noted that political power is ready to vote for the abolition of the immunity of the Ukrainian president.

Earlier, the intention to raise the issue of the abolition of parliamentary immunity in the near future was expressed by President Poroshenko. Back in early November, the Ukrainian leader expressed his hope that the VR will vote for abolishment of immunity to officials.

Thus, according to the head of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko, parliamentary immunity should not be an obstacle in the process of investigating cases. And people should not go to the VR only in order to protect themselves.

It is to be recalled that on the territory of Ukraine there were held special elections to the Verkhovna Rada. According to the latest data, People's Front party is in the lead. Petro Poroshenko Bloc takes second place.
