It was reported in the Press Service of the Ministry of Defense in Poland. Polish Office has prepared first supplies at the request of the Ukrainian authorities. The freight will be delivered in one of the military units near Lviv.
According to the Ministry of Defense of Poland, in total it is planned to send Ukraine about 320 tons of humanitarian aid, including shelf stable foods, mattresses, blankets and linens, writes newsru.ua.
The aid delivery takes place in accordance with the agreements between the Defense Ministries of Poland and Ukraine of August 14.
It is to be recalled, that the Russian humanitarian convoy entrance to the territory of Ukraine caused resonance in the society. The European leaders and the Ukrainian authorities consider this action of the Russian Federation a full-fledged military intervention in the Ukrainian territory. In particular, the Security Service of Ukraine said that later this convoy would be used by the militants against the civilians.
At the same time, the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that Russia's actions in sending the "humanitarian convoy" to Ukraine without consent with the Ukrainian authorities and without the International Committee of the Red Cross escort violate international law.
