It was reported by the Press Service of the Federal Ministry of Defense in Germany.
The statement said, "Due to the crisis in Ukraine and NATO"s desire to improve the ability of rapid response Germany, Denmark, and Poland have agreed to increase the combat readiness of the Multinational Corps of NATO in the Polish Szczecin."
In particular, the Corps must plan operations of the military exercises quickly, and the up-time will be reduced from 180 to 30-90 days.
According to the Ministry of Defense of Germany, it is planned to increase the effectives of the Corps in mid-2015. As reported by the German media, the effectives will be doubled – from 200 to 400 people. The number of German military men should be doubled and will account for 60 people.
