The first Ukrainian documentary about the annexation of Crimea will be shown at the Berlin International Film Festival (Berlinale) on February 11-21, 2016 in the framework of Ukrainian film corner. In Ukraine, the premiere of the documentary, filmed by the creative association Babylon’13, starts on 14 March, Joinfo.ua reports with reference to KrymRealii.

The film contains unique documentary footage and stories told by sailors, pilots, paratroopers and marines, who participated in the events of February – March 2014 during Russia’s invasion to Crimea.

“This film is the story of officers, soldiers and sailors, who at the time of the Crimea’s capture did not betrayed their oath to the people of Ukraine. Continuing to fulfill their military duties on land, sea and in the air, direct participants talk about the invasion and annexation of Ukrainian Crimea “, – stated in the summary of the film.

Now the film is in the production phase.

Premier of the film will take place in Kyiv on March 14, Mariupol – March 16, Dnepropetrovsk – March 17, Kherson – March 21, Mykolaiv – March 22 and in Odessa – on March 23.

The film is also included to the “Catalogue of Ukrainian films 2015 – 2016 years” for demonstration at the major international festivals in Europe.
