District Administrative Court of Kyiv satisfied the lawsuit of the Ministry of Justice in full and banned the Communist Party in Ukraine, Joinfo.ua reports citing the press service of the court.t
“December 6, 2015 District Administrative Court of Kyiv has completed the lawsuit of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine against the Communist Party of Ukraine and ruled to ban its activities. The case was heard with the participation of a third party – the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights”, – the report says.
On the same day the decision of the Kyiv Administrative Court of Appeal had dismissed the appeal against the decision of the District Administrative Court to dismiss the lawsuit of the Communist Party against the Ministry of Justice. Representatives of the Communist Party in a lawsuit demanded the abolition of the Ministry of Justice order dated July 23, № 1312/5. This order has been approved by the legal opinion of the Commission on compliance with the Law of Ukraine “On the condemnation of the Communist and National Socialist (Nazi) totalitarian regimes in Ukraine and prohibit the promotion of their symbols”, confirming discrepancy symbols and party charter to the requirements of Ukrainian legislation.
