Russia’s hybrid military forces attacked Ukrainian army positions in Donbas 122 times in the past 24 hours with one Ukrainian soldier reported as killed in action and four as wounded in action, according to the press service of the Anti-Terrorist Operation (ATO) Headquarters, Joinfo.com reports with reference to UNIAN.
“In the Mariupol sector, the occupiers opened fire from tanks on the villages of Vodiane and Lebedynske. Vodiane also came under artillery fire. Mortars of various calibers, grenade launchers, anti-tank missile systems and small arms were used to shell the town of Krasnohorivka, and the villages of Hnutove, Novotroyitske, Pavlopil, Vodiane, Novohryhorivka, and Shyrokyne. The enemy also fired mortars on the villages of Hnutove, Chermalyk, Talakivka, Pavlopil, and Vodiane. Additionally, the villages of Berezove, Vodiane and Shyrokyne came under sniper fire and fire from infantry fighting vehicles,” the report says.
In the Donetsk sector, the Russian occupation forces used mortars of various calibers to attack the town of Avdiyivka, and the villages of Maiorsk, Troyitske, Verkhniotoretske, Novhorodske, and Pisky. Grenade launchers and small arms were used to fire on the villages of Sieverne, Pisky, Zaitseve, Verkhniotoretske, Kam’ianka, and Nevelske. Moreover, a sniper was active in Kam’ianka. Furthermore, the enemy used infantry fighting vehicles to attack the village of Luhanske.
“In the Luhansk sector, the invaders repeatedly used 152mm artillery systems to shell the village of Krymske, and mortars of various calibers to fire on the town of Popasna, and the villages of Novo-Oleksandrivka, Novotoshkivske, Krymske, Troyitske, and Orikhove,” the headquarters said.
Kyiv’s Solom’iansky District Court chose a pre-trial restriction for suspended Head of the State Fiscal Service Roman Nasirov in the form of custody for the term of two months with possible bailment in the amount of UAH 100 million, Joinfo.com reports with reference to Ukrinform.
“To apply a pre-trial restriction in the form of custody for 60 days for Roman Nasirov… A bail is set in the amount of 62,500 living wages for able-bodied persons, which amounts to one hundred million hryvnias,” judge Oleksandr Bobrovnyk said.
The judge also added that the court’s ruling on the pre-trial restriction for Nasirov in the form of custody expires on April 30, 2017 at 11.50 p.m.
As earlier reported, Head of Ukraine’s State Fiscal Service Roman Nasirov was arrested in Feofania, near Kyiv, in the evening on March 2. He is suspected of abuse of office and embezzlement of public funds in the amount of over UAH 2 billion. On March 3, Roman Nasirov was removed from office.
Representatives of the state prosecution during the hearing of the Solomyansky District Court of Kyiv on choosing a pretrial restriction to Roman Nasirov, chief of the State Fiscal Service, who was charged from his duties, handed the documents to the court that prove the last has a citizenship of Great Britain, People’s Deputy Andriy Zhurzhy (Samopomich faction in the parliament) said, Joinfo.com reports with reference to Interfax-Ukraine.
“The prosecution notes that Nasirov has the citizenship of Great Britain. They attached the relevant documents to the case,” Zhurzhy wrote on his Facebook page on Monday evening.
According to him, during the meeting they also recalled Nasirov’s Hungarian citizenship.”
