Antonov SC aircraft will receive the EU certification, Infrastructure Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Omelian says, according to Ukrainska Pravda.
“Today Jan. 16, we have signed an important document – the agreement between the State Aviation Service of Ukraine and the European Commission regarding the compliance of certification systems,” Omelian said at a press briefing.
According to Omelian, it is one of the main documents so that Antonov aircraft can be certified in the EU and worldwide.
The minister also added that a dialogue between Ukraine and the EU on new infrastructure projects and general development of transport strategies will be held every year.
The Prosecutor General’s Office of Ukraine has received a copy of a statement of Viktor Yanukovych, Ukraine’s president at the time, requesting Moscow to deploy its military forces in Ukraine, Joinfo.com reports with reference to UNIAN.
“The Chief Military Prosecutor’s Office received, through the Permanent Mission of Ukraine [to the UN] the official letter of the UN Secretariat with a photocopy certified with the official seal of the United Nations of Yanukovych’s statement from March 01, 2014, with a request to deploy Russian troops in Ukraine, and all official materials that Russia had enclosed with the application by Russia’s envoy to the UN Churkin,” Lutsenko wrote on Facebook.
He stressed that all papers Ukraine received were recognized by the UN as official documents, which had been provided by the Russian Federation. “The investigators from the military prosecutor’s office received irrefutable documentary evidence of Yanukovych’s treason. I received the permit for the publication of data obtained in a pre-trial investigation from a senior prosecutor in the case of Yanukovych treason,” the prosecutor general wrote.
In the Donetsk sector of the Anti-Terrorist Operation (ATO) area, militants shelled Ukrainian positions in Avdiyivka, Luhanske, Opytne and Myronivske with grenade launchers.
In the Mariupol sector, the enemy fired at Pavlopil with 82mm mortars. They also shelled Pavlopil, Hnutove, Krasnohorivka, Mar’inka, Vodiane and Shyrokyne with from small arms and grenade launchers.
In the Luhansk sector, militants fired small arms and grenade launchers at Novozvanivka, Shariv Kut and Stanytsia Luhanska.
One Ukrainian soldier was wounded in action.
The next meeting of the Trilateral Contact Group on Ukraine is scheduled for February 1, Martin Sajdik, Special Representative of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe in the Contact Group said.
“On February 1,” Sajdik said when asked by reporters in Minsk on Monday.
