Today at the court hearing on the case of the Ukrainian pilot and MP Nadiya Savchenko, the judge closed the hearing after the speech of her lawyer Mark Feygin, Joinfo.ua reports.
The next hearing is scheduled on 11:00 on March 9 (Moscow time).
Savchenko said that the court violated her rights by denying her right for the last plea and declared a dry hunger strike from March 4.
After the hearing Nadiya’s lawyer Ilya Novikov said that it was an unexpected posponment of the hearing. “I’ve got an idea that the court wants to renew the court investigation,” – said Novikov.
Mark Feygin also wrote on Twitter that tomorrow he’s going to visit Nadiya in prison and try to talk her out of the hunger strike.
It should be recalled that Russian prosecution demanded 23 years of jail for Nadiya Savchenko.
