On February 15, the Russian Federal Service for Supervision on Transport (Rostransnadzor) reported that 152 truck with Ukrainian registration were detained on Russian territory, JoInfo.ua reports.
Russia explained such actions by the fact that the Ukrainian activists block the transit of Russian trucks on Ukrainian territory.
Russian side said Ukrainian drivers did no unlawful acts. The trucks are ordered to move to parking lots.
It should be recalled that on Thursday 11 February Ukrainian activists began to block transit trucks with Russian registration plates in Zakarpattya region near border with Slovakia and Hungary, where Russian trucks were redirected after Poland suspended cargo transportation agreement with Russia. Ten regions of Ukraine, including Zakarpattia, Volyn, Lviv, Rivne, Ivano-Frankivsk, Chernivtsi, Vinnytsia, Dnipropetrovsk, Zhytomyr and Sumy regions have already joint the campaign.
According to the activists, they can not turn the trucks back, so they just halt them.
