“I just walked out of the prison in Novocherkassk (Rostov region, Russia – ed.). Nadiya sais hello to all of you. Freedom is closer, than it seems. Nadiya Savchenko will go home in the coming year,“ – said her lawyer Mark Feygin on his Twitter yesterday. But he has not explained anything about motives of his assurance yet.

Today, at the hearing in Donetsk city court of the Rostov region of Russia, the court continues to question the witnesses on the case.
It should be recalled that Nadiya Savchenko, Ukrainian pilot, was captured in Donbas in June 2014, illegally transported to the Russian Federation, imprisoned by the Kremlin and accused of alleged involvement in the death of Russian journalists in Donbas.
