An MEP of the eighth convocation, Janusz Korwin-Mikke, who collects a delegation to visit the Crimean peninsula illegally annexed by the Russian Federatio, concluded his speech at a meeting of the European Parliament with the Nazi salute, Joinfo.ua reports.
The politician is known for his extraordinary and odious statements and actions. For example, after the terrorist attack in Paris, he was sitting at a meeting of the European Parliament with a sign “I am not Charlie.” It is known that he approves of Putin’s policy towards Ukraine.
The other day he said that he intended to visit Crimea with a group of MPs.
He said that he would talk to his party colleagues and discuss the probability of a visit to the peninsula after the completion of the election campaign.
Korwin-Mikke said that he considered the trip of the French deputies to Crimea as a correct step, because “it will recognize the current legal status of Crimea.”
