Russia supports the territorial integrity of Ukraine in view of the decisions made in relation to Crimea, said the Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev at a news conference after the Russian-Slovenian talks, Joinfo.ua reports.
“We also believe that this conflict has no military solution. This conflict should be resolved by peaceful means, first of all, through negotiations between all the parties to the conflict. I am referring to both the official authorities and those authorities that exist at the moment in the south-east,” Medvedev said.
The Prime Minister said that Russia respected the territorial integrity of Ukraine, but would not give Crimea back.
“The Russian Federation also supports the territorial integrity of Ukraine, but of course, taking into account the decisions made last year in respect of Crimea. We will continue to pursue our consultations on this matter. I think that it is useful any way,” the Prime Minister added.
