The North Atlantic Alliance stepped up the funding of programs in Ukraine after termination of cooperation with Russia. It was stated by Ihor Dolhov, the Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine on European integration, during the 11th Assembly of the Ukraine-NATO Civic League, Joinfo.ua reports.
The Alliance will allocate all the funds provided for Russia to finance programs in Ukraine.
“After NATO’s cooperation with Russia since the beginning of the aggression was stopped completely, almost all the funds the NATO Headquarters planned to allocate for the development of cooperation with Russia are transferred for the projects in Ukraine. It is not the military aspect, but it should be mentioned,” he said.
