On his page on Facebook, a volunteer Andrey Porohnitsky wrote that the customs officers in Krakovets detained, unloaded and sent somewhere the medical humanitarian goods, Joinfo.ua reports.
"The withdrawal was conducted in a very interesting way. First, a customs officer phoned his chief, and the latter ordered to "seize everything". The argument was that there were no documents on the parcel, but 3 boxes that contained secondhand backpacks and stuff were given back without any documents," a volunteer wrote a few days ago.
And yesterday, Andrey stated that there was some progress regarding the issue.
"Not all things pass, and the farther we go, the more interesting details come out on top. Can not disclose the details so far. Now we are holding a dialogue with representatives of the customs. We hope we will achieve mutual understanding. We hope very much.
But so far, the goods are in Krakovets," the volunteer said.
