Today, at the request of the doctors, the Ukrainian pilot Nadiya Savchenko agreed to stop the hunger strike in the Russian prison. It is reported by the press service of the Federal Penitentiary Service of the Russian Federation (FSIN), reports Joinfo.ua.
"Nadiya Savchenko agreed to fulfill the recommendations of physicians to maintain her health and agreed to eat chicken broth. However, she did not give up the hunger strike. Nadiya Savchenko remains under dynamic supervision of medical specialists and continues to receive the necessary supportive therapy," FSIN's press service reports.
At the same time, Savchenko's lawyer Mark Feygin has not confirmed this information yet.
On his Twitter, he wrote: "Now I'm going to visit Savchenko and find out everything about the "partial termination of the hunger strike," as reported by the Federal Penitentiary Service. Before that, there is nothing to report."
