The United Nations believes that the official data about killed and wounded people during the hostilities in the Donbas are significantly underestimated, UN News Centre writes on Twitter, Joinfo.ua reports.
"In the UN believe that the official data about the dead (almost 6,000) and wounded (more than 14,000) in the east of Ukraine is much lower than actual numbers," the report reads.
In addition, it is noted that the next report of the UN Office for Human Rights on the human rights situation in Ukraine will be published on March 2.
According to the latest UN data, during the time of ATO in Donbas there were killed nearly 5,700 people, more than 14, 000 people were injured.
It should be recalled that recently, a blogger Oleh Yarchuk reported that he managed to obtain intelligence data about 1,416 killed and 2,690 wounded militants in the period from February 2 to February 18.
